That could be Pluto with its mate, Charon.

(Of course Pluto is only a "dwarf planet" now.)

Alternate:

Some people have argued that this holds true for Earth and Earth's Moon, although the idea has not caught on. Earth's Moon has by far the largest mass in proportion to its companion planet when compared with any other moon in the solar system.

What planet's moon is so close in size that scientists consider it to be a binary planet?

Pluto and Charon. That's not a bad answer, except that Pluto isn't regarded as a planet now, of course.

Can a binary star system have planets?

Yes, they can have planets but they will not be as common as a single star system. If any planets are formed, they will generally be far away from the stars. This is because of the gravitational influences of two stars. This instability prohibits the formation of planets. Obviously, it depends on the mass of the two stars and their distance from each other. A close pair will probably not have planets whereas a major star and a far minor binary pair will not experience the same influences and planet formation could occur without the same constraint's. Our nearest binary/triple star system - Alpha Centauri has yet to have any planets detected.

What is small rocky planets close to the sun call?

terrestrial planet

A small planet that revolves around another planet?

This is called a binary planet. They are ususally very close together and share a gravitaional pull. A good example of a binary planet planet is the ex-planet Pluto, which rotates with it's satellite Charon. Charon was believed to have been the "moon" belonging to Pluto, but recently scientists decided to strip Pluto of it's "planetary" status, and have also stripped Charon of it's "moon" status. They have now been renamed and are considered to be BINARY stars. Pluto is considered to be a "minor" planet now because of this.

What planet do most known extrasolar planets least resemble?

We tend to see the large planets farthest away from their stars. So it is unlikely we will find any small planets close to their star similar to Mercury.

Why haven't low-mass planets been detected close to their stars and high-mass planets far from their stars?

That's because a planet's gravitational effects on a star are stronger - and therefore easier to detect - if the planet is close to the star, and if it is massive.Current methods of detecting planets usually rely on the gravitational interaction between a planet and a star.

Why are the outer planets colder than the inner planet?

because they not close enough to sun

Which two planets are close to the sun?

Mercury and Venus. Even Earth is the third planet.

What is the speed of planets?

The speed of planets will vary as they travel at different speeds. Mercury is the fastest planet while Pluto is the slowest. The speed of the planets is influenced by how close they are to the sun.

Does the Alpha Centauri binary-star system have any planets in its orbit?

None are known yet. Some evidence suggests that a small planet may be in a close orbit around Alpha Centauri B, the second largest of the three stars in the system.

Is moon near any planets in the space?

Yes. The moon is close to the planet it orbits: Earth.

Is the sun bigger then the other planets?

Yes. No other planet in our solar system even comes close.
