There are no seas on Mars.
What happened to the water on mars h'm its simple really. A long time ago about 10000 million million years ago mars had water all over its surface in seas and oceans like earth. But one day a giant solar flare burst-ed out of the sun straight at mars. Mars had a ozone to protect but not as strong as earths. The solar flare made the ozone layer evaporate and evaporated all the water mars had ever had except for the polar ice caps. Then mars became a dirt land of nothing. Mars had water but probably never will again.
Obviously there is no sea, so for for Mars, the zero elevation is defined by the mean martian radius, 3382.9 kilometers, and the [average] atmospheric pressure [which] is 6.1 millibars.
Mars has constantly been visited by spacecrafts. The first spacecraft to visit Mars was the Mariner 4. After that Mars has been visited by numerous spacecrafts like: Mars Pathfinder, Mars Global Surveyor, Mars Odyssey, Mars Express and the Mars 2 which was the first spacecraft to land on Mars.
The red planet is Mars, 4th planet from the sun and 7th largest. The name of the month of March derives from the name Mars
Earth and Mars
Is there water on Mars :) ???????????????surface temperatures on Mars are too low for liquid water to exist and Mars has no rivers, seas, or oceans. However, there was water once. I know this because I am an austernaut that studdys Mars. And Mars has dried up water channelsYes there is water on Mars
NASA assumed Mars was once a place with water (rivers and seas). They are searching for water since it is believed "where there is water there could be life."
A teleporter between earth and mars when maby mars was a earth like planet/ with seas and grass and also an atmosphere..
Well, the moon has Maria, which is Italian for sea. These are actually big plains but are referred to as seas. there is water in the ice caps on the moon but not in these so called seas.

They both take almost 24 hours to complete 1 rotation around its axis. Mars have huge frozen seas just as that on Antarctica and arctic. They have almost the same value of gravity

There are a few signs which lead scientists to believe that Mars in fact did, and possibly still has, water in a liquid form. These clues are the river beds carved into the rock of Mars as well as the presence of Iron Oxide in the surface of Mars. On the 31st of July, 2008, NASA announced that it had found water on mars.
no there are 113 seas (if you include the landlocked seas, 110 if you do not.
Weel mars and earth used to be twins that is all i am going tio say
Not all seas are completely surround by land. There are three major types of seas which are hypersaline lakes, nearly enclosed seas and partly enclosed seas.
