There are only two types of radiation.

1. Electromagnetic

Under this we have gamma radiation, X radiation, light and heat

2. Particle radiation

Under this we have alpha and beta.

Is solar energy availability?

This is illogical question.hahah because as u know solar radiations are available everywhere and so we can generate energy from everywhere using solar radiations. This is the most cheap source of energy. It requires only one time cost and lasts for many years. In this process we use a solar panel which is made of silicon, the solar radiations fall on this panel and convert these radiations into electric d.c voltages and these d.c voltages convert into a.c voltages by using inverters.

The optic radiations project to the?

The optic radiations project to the visual cortex in the occipital lobe of the brain. They carry visual information from the lateral geniculate nucleus of the thalamus to the primary visual cortex. This pathway is important for processing and interpreting visual stimuli.

Are sun's radiations UV or infrared?

Yes ... it radiates across all frequencies, with a max output in the visible range.

Why does the Sun radiate the Earth?

The Sun emits its radiations in all directions, not specifically towards Earth. Some of the radiation just happens to come in this direction.

Can heat energy travel through space a vacuum by convection?

Actually heat cannot travel through vacuum. sun emits radiations (obviously electromagnetic radiations.) which needs no medium to travel. hence these radiations travel through space and reaches earth where it interacts with atmosphere. when these radiations fall on media like air, water land etc. the radiation is converted into heat energy. Thus it is clear that heat from sun is converted into radiations which travel through space and reaches earth where it is converted to light.

Yes they can. They are a form of electromagnetic rays and all types of electromagnetic radiations can travel in vacuum

What is the differences between visible and invible radiation?

Radiations within the range of 200 - 400nm are Visible Radiations. And others out of this range are invisible radiations.

How does the ozone protects life on earth by absorbing certain wavelengths of what?

The ozone protects life on earth by absorbing certain wavelengths of ultraviolet radiations. These radiations are high frequency radiations which can cause serious harm to living organisms.
