According to Fox News and their computer simulated models, if the star were to explode and become a black hole, it would eat all the children on Earth. Also, our economy would fall over on itself twice as hard as our atmosphere would slowly melt away due to the gravitational pull of the black hole.
But real scientists agree that, nothing threatening would happen aside from the potential of gamma radiation. There would be alot to learn from it's destruction.
Orion's Belt is famous because it is one of the most recognizable asterisms in the night sky, making it a popular target for stargazers. The three bright stars in the belt are named Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. In various cultures, Orion's Belt has been mythologized and used for navigation purposes.
Orion's belt is one of the more well known star formations. Culturally, it was a major element of the first Men in Black film - although it turned out that the star formation was being confused with a cat's collar. The formation was also mentioned in the original Star Trek series; in the City on the Edge of Forever, Kirk tells Edith Keeler (played by Joan Collins) that in "a hundred years or so" a famous novelist would come from a star just to left of Orion's belt. In the 1990s there was hypothesis that the star's making up Orion's belt were "perfectly" aligned with the positions of the three Giza pyramids. The hypothesis has been rebutted by several astronomers and Egyptologists.
Population III stars more than likely created the first black holes, which became the supermassive black holes at the centres of most galaxies. They also produced the first "metals" into the new Universe.
The Milky Way galaxy is a spiral shaped disk about 100,000 light year in diameter and between 650 and 1,300 light years thick. It contains around 200 -> 400 billion stars. Our solar system is at the edge of one of the spiral arms. Estimated between 26,000 & 32,000 light years from the center of the galaxy. Our Solar System is in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. See related link for a pictorial.
We are located in the Milky Way galaxy, specifically in a spiral arm called the Orion Arm or Orion Spur. This arm is situated between two larger arms, the Perseus Arm and the Sagittarius Arm. Our solar system is about 27,000 light-years from the galactic center, which is home to a supermassive black hole known as Sagittarius A*. The Milky Way itself is part of the Local Group of galaxies, which is within the larger Laniakea Supercluster.
It wouldn't and couldn't
A black carpet beetle is an oval-shaped black beetle, Latin name Attagenus unicolor.
Orion Black is Sirius and Regulus Black's father. They are both first cousins of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Yes, there are small black beetles that can bite, such as the black carpet beetle or the black carpet beetle larvae.
Yes, there are tiny black beetles that can bite, such as the carpet beetle or the black carpet beetle.
The red and black beetle is called a ladybird beetle.
There is no reason why it should explode. The gravity that holds it together is way too strong.
I'm not sure, though I hypothesize that the explosion would be contained in the gravity of the black hole.
The black beetle with one yellow spot on its back is a Largus beetle. It is different from the burrowing family and cydnidae.
If the star is larger than about 5 times the size of our Sun, a black hole can form from the core of the exploded star

hmm maybe BLACK?!?!
