The sun is not getting bigger by the heat produced bu it because it gets canceled by its enormous gravitational pull (the gravitational pull tries to pull the gases present in the sun to make it small and the heat produced expands it, thus canceling the effect of expansion or contraction.)
But, it has enough hydrogen to keep its fire going for 5000 million years.
When the time comes for the great fire to die, the sun will turn into a red giant,
bloated to about 100 times its current size.
So, if in that sense, I guess yes.

∙ 12y agoYes, in about three billion years it will expand and become a red giant as it runs out of hydrogen fuel near the end of it's life. It will engulf Mercury, Venus and possibly the earth.
