Well obviously, there would be complete darkness. People would probably stay indoors more than usual, and keep on lots of lights. Kids would probably have school closed during that week, too. Also, places in northern Canada, Alaska, and Russia, because of their location on the Earth, have darkness for six months and daylight for six months. WOW!
Hi my answer to your question is if the sun stopped shining, It would be freezing a dull and dark all over the world.
Well, two causes of wind is the uneven heating of Earth's surfaces and the sun's energy. So if the sun stopped shining, then i guess there are only three causes of wind left....??? -.-"
there would not be life on earth
Yes...
Stoped rotating. A day would take a year. Perpendicular. There would be no seasons.
because the gravity of the earth :)

If the earth's supply of energy stopped, Caveman time!
there would not be life on earth
we will have the same weather when the earth stopped at that moment like for example when the earth stopped spinning in the day like at two in the afternoon than it will stay sunny in that area for eterninty get it don't contact me at the weather man.com
It doesn't. The earth would continue to move even if the sun stopped shining. Once something is in motion like the earth, it continues in motion unless something stops it
the earth will become extinct eventually
If the sun remained in place, only stopped shining, not that much would actually happen. Planets would get colder, but they'd remain in their orbit. All surface Life on Earth would disappear.
The temperature of the Earth would quickly drop to near absolute zero, and everybody would freeze to death.
SHINING STAR
No more rain plants would die then animals then people
By asking the question, 'What happens when there is no light?', I'm presuming you mean, 'What happens to Earth when there is no light?'. If the Sun stopped shining, it wouldn't take very long until we started to freeze to death. Without the Sun, there is no life. There is no Earth...
No raining? I don't know.
