∙ 16y agoConsidering the discovery of polar ice caps on Mars, it is more or less 'possible' that we will at some point be able to live there. That being said, Mars is a smaller planet. Smaller means less gravitation force, and therefore it would be about 30% easier to stand up, lift things, that sort of stuff. This complicates something like living on Mars for most of your life and then visiting Earth, as you will not be accustomed to the strength of Earth's gravity, making it much harder to even stand for very long. Other than that.. at this point it's basically a desert, and is also far colder than earth is, since it is further from the sun, some of that will have to change to become closer to Earth's environment before we would be able to live there, however.
