The greek Aristotle writted a theorie of the universe based on what Greeks considered geometrical perfect bodies; 5 bodies, then 5 planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Greeks do not have considered the Earth a planet. The do not have known about Uranus, Neptune, and Pluton.Today, have been discovered far objects with equal or suspected bigger size than Pluton (like Quaoar), and Pluton is not more considered a planet.

Neptune was discovered on September 23, 1846 by Johann Gottfried Galle and Heinrich Louis d'Arrest. The various dwarf planets were discovered at various times, the first one discovered being 1 Ceres on January 1, 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi.

The four inner, rocky planets are also known as the terrestrial planets. These are; Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. The inner planets all have a clear solid surface, unlike gaseous planets. The inner planets do not have a ring system. The inner planets are of similar densities.
nobody knows for sure because our unerverse is so big
Jupiter 63 known moons, Saturn 60 known moons, Uranus 27 known moons, Neptune 13 known moons and Pluto (no longer classed as a planet) 3 known moons.
Jovian planets are: -gaseous -farthest planets from the sun -largest planets
There are 8 known planets. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Some say that Pluto is a planet, but in 2006, scientists decided to classify Pluto as a Dwarf planet because of it's small size. So, eight known planets are in the solar system and the Galaxy of the Milky Way. Written by Elizabeth Schachte of Pennsylvania.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Star planets." However, I can tell you that there are 8 known planets that orbit the star Sol, including Earth (Sol 3).

Pluto is the nineth planet from the sun, it is the farthest of the known planets. now it is proven that there are 3 more planets who knows it might be true!!! but Pluto is the ninth planet from the sun!!!!!!
The 3 planets closest to the sun are Mercury, Venus, and Earth. We live on one of the inner planets.

It is not known. The Rhind Papyrus describes how the area of a circle is related to pi where pi was estimated as (4/3)4 ≈ 3.1605 (approx). The Rhind Papyrus dates from around 1700 BCE. So either very ancient people used pi = 3 or else they were later people who were dogmatically required to use pi = 3.
