NASA once published a booklet called "Spinoffs from Space", listing many of the technologies and inventions that have been developed as part of the space program. The short answer is "Yes".

Weather satellites enable us to see hurricanes and typhoons far out to sea, long before they hit land, and they allow us to track the storms. Before weather satellites, thousands of people each year used to die when hurricanes struck populated areas without warning. In 1908, a hurricane hit Galveston Texas, killing over 6 thousand people. When a similar storm hit Galveston last year, only a few dozen were killed, and they could have survived if they had evacuated; weather satellites gave people the evacuation time.

TV and radio stations are able to broadcast locations that are far away because the signals are carried by satellites. Many people listen to satellite radio or watch TV programs beamed down directly from satellites to remote locations.

Medical technologies that would have been miraculous 50 years ago are routine now, because of inventions developed for the space program. Computers themselves would probably not have existed without the micro-miniaturization techniques pioneered by the space programs.
