sound is created by through creating compression and decompression zones in the air and air particles. there is no air in space, therefore we can not make compression and decompression zones, thus stating that there is no sound in space as it can not be created without air. good enough answer? :)

Why cant you hear any sound on moon?

There is nothing to hear in space and on the moon you are too far away to hear anything from earth the scientific reason is that sound moves and bounces to our ears with gravity but because there is no gravity in space it is impossible for sounds to reach us, they simply float away

Why you cannot hear any sound in moon?

Because it is in space, and their isnt really sound in space

Where will you never hear sound?

In space. It is a vacume

Why can't you hear sound in space?

Sound requires a medium, such as air or water, to travel through. In the vacuum of space, there is no medium for sound waves to travel through, so it is impossible for sound to propagate. Astronauts can communicate with each other and with mission control through radio waves instead.

Why are we unable to hear sound in outer space?

There is no sound in outer space because space is a vacuum. Sound needs matter to travel through and vibrate in order for us to hear it. Air vibrates in our ears to make us hear sound. Since space has no air we wouldn't be able to hear anything.

Why is it impossible for sound to travel through outer space?

Sound requires a medium, such as air, water, or solid surfaces, to travel through. In outer space, there is no medium for sound waves to travel through, so sound cannot propagate in the vacuum of space.

Can you hear someone yelling in space?

Sound needs to travel through something, or you can't hear. Sonce there is nothing in space, sound can't travel.

Why we cannot speak in space and cannot hear?

We can't speak or hear in space because there is no air the sound can travel through.

Why wouldn't you be able to hear a sound in outer space?

sound doesn't work a vacuum

Can you hear anything in outer space?

No, sound cannot travel through the vacuum of space because it requires a medium, such as air or water, to propagate. Astronauts can hear inside their spacecrafts where there is air, but they cannot hear anything outside in the vacuum of space.

Can you hear any sounds in space?

In space, sound does not travel because it is a vacuum, meaning there are no molecules to carry sound waves. Astronauts can communicate using radio transmissions inside their spacecraft, but they cannot hear sound like we do on Earth as there is no medium for sound to travel through in outer space.

How do you hear yourself in space without a space suit?

Sound cannot travel in empty space. But, sound may be able to travel through your body.
