Get iTunes, insert the cd into your computer, iTunes SHOULD pop up, if not click the iTunes icon on your pc, when a menu of the list of songs pop up, look for a button that says sync, and sync the music from cd into your iPod. If that doesn't work then take the music from the cd and copy it into your pc, open iTunes and drag the music into your device section after you click it, then it should sync.
Hope this helps =D

No, you do not have to buy every song for your iPod touch. You can either buy songs from stores providing a download service such as iTunes or Amazon, or you can copy songs from any CDs that you own. But some artists provide some of their music free of charge which you can legally use for free or you can make your own music.
