Composite video signals are used with standard definition video. There is no composite encoding system for HD signals. As 720p, 1080i and 1080p are all HD signals, they cannot be carried on a composite signal.
To get your PS3 to output in 720P you will need an HDMI cable and an HDTV. Connect your PS3 to the HDTV using the HDMI cable. After you connect the PS3 to the HDTV go to options and then output setting and choose to output in 720p.
you can't do that. 1080i games can be played with a hdmi cable or else it will be at 720p
and my composite cable is a phono cable n the cable is for my ps3
Any HDMI cable should be 720p compatible. When running 1080p some low quality HDMI cables may have problems when longer than say 5 metres.
HDMI cables are manufactured and tested to support all SD and HD formats. There is no cable that is dedicated to a specific format so a cable that handles 1080p will also handle 1080i, 720p and any standard definition format.
Yes ther are 6 different resolutions your PS3 can play on. 480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p. Once you hook up the composite cables or the HDMI cable it saves the setting automatically and therefore must change the settings again to go back to standard definition.
Negative, no networks broadcast in 1080P yet, it does 720P and 1080i
They do not make 720i TV's the format doesn't exist. They make 720p TV's and thus you should set your resolution to 720p. Hope I could help.
HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface which is a cable you can use to play game in HD 720p,1080p and 1080i on a HD full TV or HD ready
A 480 by 800 phone cannot play the 720p videos because the screen resolution is not high enough.
A VGA composite cable is a Video Graphics Array cable, it contains three rows of five pins in one connector and is used to connect computers to monitors.
