Just feed the audio output on the back to the TV set to an audio input of the Home Theater. Don't forget to turn the speakers in the TV off (down) when using the home theater sound system.
A person can use a home theater system set up for many different reasons. It can be used to play music, watch movies with the family or simply to watch a good television show.
depending on the theater system, you can use anything from an HDMI cable to a standard composite imput. Match the theater systems outputs to the possible inputs to the TV.
A theater system can be used with any type of TV as it is the sound component alone. However not every output can use a theater system to its fullest, and you could end up with stereo sound alone from your television.
Generally, you need purchase a seperate home theater system for surround sound. TV's usually just have a setting for use with a surround sound home theater.
Yes, IKEA does sell home theater furniture. They carry home theater seating, television stands and wall mounts, and many other furniture items that people use in their home theaters.
I have a 2nd gen Apple TV and a Panasonic SC BTT270 Home theatre system. I Have visual and sound through my TV butt want to use my home theatre system too. I am currently using hdmi cable from tv. What do i need to do to make this possible?ThanksPeter
No it is Blue tooth and TVs do not use that they use a system that has to have line of sight, but my Sony TV controller works to play DVDs and blu ray discs on the PS3 so does the Sony Home theater remote
That depends on your TV. The PS3 for my HDTV has to be on an HDMI input that it is plugged into and not a channel. Then I added a Home theater and now it is plugged into that and the Home Theater HDMI is plugged into the HDTV HDMI input. Some TVs use 3 and others can use 99 or 98 others use aux setting
The TV needs to have AUDIO OUT connectors, some don't. If they are present on your TV connect them to the Home Theater box's INPUTS. Then go into the TV's men and switch the TV's speakers off. Don't use the TV's speakers with the Home Theaters speakers.
When I purchased the Sony Home theater I was able to use HDMI cables to Plug my cable Box and PS3 into the Home theater and then plug the home theater into the Sony HDTV with a 3rd HDMI cable. Now when I turn on the PS3 the home Theater works unless I turn it off and then the sound comes from the HDTV speaker system. Sony makes a sound bar PS3 home theater, but I purchased a Sony HTSF470 Home Theater System that has HDMI repeaters. Many Home theaters also include a BLUE RAY DISC player and since one was already included with the PS3 this 1000 watt 5.1 system with the built in speaker stands met my needs perfectly. I do not know whether systems without the HDMI repeaters can be connected the same way. I just followed the home theater set up instructions and set up the PS3 as a Blu Ray Disc player, which it also is.
Home theatre remotes are similar to regular remotes used on the television. A couple differences are the volume and display control. These are used to better your televisions performance.
To connect your Sony SA-VA15 home theater active speaker system to your 32-inch Seiki TV, use an RCA to 3.5mm audio cable. Plug the RCA connectors into the audio output (usually labeled as "Audio Out" or "Line Out") on the TV and connect the 3.5mm end to the input on the Sony speaker system. Make sure to adjust the volume on both the TV and the speaker system for optimal sound. If needed, check the TV settings to ensure the correct audio output is selected.
