How do you download free songs on your ipod?

Okay there are two ways to download free songs onto your iPod.

1. (FOR #1 YOU MUST HAVE AN IPHONE) Okay, more recent iphones come with the app called "VoiceMemos." If you don't have it, you can get it for free at the app store. So, go to YouTube and search for t'e song you want on your ipod. Use voicememos to record the audio. (make sure it is super quiet to get a good recording.) Once the song is finished, stop recording and listen to the recording to make sure it is loud enough, good quality, full, etc. Then, plug your iphone into your computer, and let it sync. Once it is done syncing, look in your library for something that looks like a date and a time. (e.g. 2/1/10, 4:49 PM) Then right click on it and press "Get Info." Then, click on the tab that says "info" and rename your song instead of a date and a time to its actual name. If you know them, you may also put in the artist, the album, the genre, etc. Press ok and you have a free song on your ipod!

2. Ok, i think everyone knows this one so don't be mad, but you can always just buy or borrow a CD and download onto iTunes. That's a free download, right?

Well, you can use itunes. It is very easy. First, you have to download itunes to your computer/laptop. Next, you make an account on itunes. After you have prepared everything for you itunes and ipod, get your ipod. When you bought the ipod, the box should have had a wire that could connect your ipod with the laptop/computer. Use that. Connect your ipod with your laptop/computer. Click on itunes. Go under store and click on "itunes store". Type in the name of the song that you want in the top, right, corner. Click enter. You will see a list of suggestions for the name that you typed in and you just click on the one that you want. They will ask you if you are sure that you want to download that song. Click yes. Wait for it to download. After it is done, go to music. That song should already be checked off. So go to your ipod under "devices". Click "sync". That should be all. -Follow all install instructions it gives you.

Step 4 (Restart And Test)

-Once The Add-On Is Installed, Go To Any Free Music Or Video LISTENING/WATCHING ONLY Sites. (Youtube, Napster-Free, Myspace Music, All Work Excelantly).

-Find Site.

-Start Watching or Listening To The Music.

You'll See 3 Colored Spheres Circleing In The Top Right Of Your Browser Window.

-Click The SMALL Little Downwards Arrow ONCE.

- You'll See Your Music/Video File.

-Click It And Download To Your Desktop As And Only As A .mp3 or .mp4 Or .flv File.
