If a piece of the 1/8" plug has broken off inside your computer (usually from tripping over the cord), you will have to try to fish the piece out of the audio output with a very sharp, fine drill bit. You can also see if you can get at the back side of the jack from inside the computer. If not, you will have to replace your sound card, or motherboard if the sound system is on the main board.

If I understand the question, you are trying to intertwine different functions. Like your ears, the audio input jack receives an audio source, while the audio output jack transmits outputs audio content - similar to your mouth. Buy a headphone jack to have a red and white splitter. You can connect the headphone jack to your computer and the audio splitter to the aux. jack on your amplifier. The amplifier needs to be set on the aux setting. You can buy the headphone audio splitter @ Walmart for about 6 dollars.
