Use the latest version of iTunes and go to the Store menu. Then either Sign In if you aren't already. If you are signed in, hit "Authorise computer" and re-enter your password. Then try transferring your purchases again. This must be with the same iTunes store account that you used to buy the songs originally, and can only be done on up to 4 computers. all you do is open itunes and click on file and then click on add files to my library and choose where you want to get you music.
