You can turn off the Language in Multiplayer by scrolling the Dialouge button in options all the way down to 0.

You can turn off the rotate function (which will stop all things from transitioning to landscape mode) by double-clicking the home button and scrolling all the way to the left. There is what looks like a recycle symbol click that. Or you can just turn the phone up-right.

Battlefield 2 was the first Battlefield game to have swearing it is not bad though they only say the "D word" when saying "Sorry" Battlefield Bad Company 2 and 1 has swearing but in Bad Company 2 you can turn it off in MULTIPLAYER by going to Options and scrolling Dialouge to 0. Battlefield 3 has language and there is no way to turn it off.

I have the same problem in my caprice, what you need to do is just sit there and switch it to high for a few minutes, then eventually if you keep playing with it it will turn off when you switch it to the far left
