How do you unlock iPod if you forgot password?

wow... this is the third time I've answered this question lol... plug in your iPod then open my computer.. click the iPod then click the ipod_control folder then click the device folder then delete the _locked folder it worked on my iPod so it should work on yours

It is very simple to do when you have these instructions!

1.you plug your iPod/iPhone in to your computer thru the usb

2.open iTunes

3.on the left hand side there is a side that should have the name of your iPod on it

4.click on it and find the restore button click it

5.it will restore settings such as the passcode and volume but not much else!

Try this:

Connect your iPod to the first computer it was synced with or the computer set as the primary one in iTunes. Open the iTunes application, then disconnect your iPod from the computer, and it should no longer be locked.

As a last resort you can go to apple site and look for restore your ipod-but using that method everything will be erased. Good luck.

turn the ipod off and the hold the center button and the menu botton at the same time

You'll have to connect the iPod Touch iTunes, go to the iPod menu, and then click the Restore button and do that restore to reset your iPod.

Its simple just plug it in to the computer and it should unlock :D
