There are several DISH Network remote codes that you can try for a magnavox TV. 566 is generally the most successful but if that doesn't program your remote you can also try the following codes, 552, 445, or 981.
2002 Worked Perfectly!
20675 worked for me!! Thanks
To program your Magnavox universal remote to work with your TV, you first need to find the program code for your specific TV model. This code can usually be found in the remote's instruction manual or on the manufacturer's website. Once you have the code, follow the remote's programming instructions, which typically involve entering a series of numbers or pressing a sequence of buttons. Finally, test the remote to ensure it is working properly with your TV.
I have an iomega prestige 1tb hard drive that wiil not play thru my Magnavox dvd player it is formatted to ntfs what format do I need
Magnavox in a North American brand of DVD player and they are programmed to play region 1 discs. It is unlikely that any Magnavox will play a region 2 disc (the European region code).
I have a Magnavox MPD103 portable DVD player and when charging it the solid yellow light has begun to blink. It even blinks when I turn it on and the light is green. Anyone know what this means?
Two easy suggestions. 1) Trick: pre-pend a 1 to the code. Some have found by just adding an additional "1" in-front of the comcast remote code works. For, example, My Magnavox codes found at: http://www.comcast.com/MediaLibrary/1/2/CM/VanityURL/documents/comcast_dvr_remote_manual.pdf were 0054, 0030, 0179, & 0186. So I should try 10054, 10030, 10179, 10186. 2) Goto the remote manufacturer's site. I found out that my comcast remote is made by UEI at this URL: http://www.urcsupport.com/ I found my remote on that page (one similiar, not exact) and clicked for the codes. which led me here (great page...) http://www.urcsupport.com/html.php?page_id=329 It asked for my "BRAND" (magnavox) and "MODEL" (left blank). it returned code: 10054 Same as one in answer #1 AND IT WORKED!!! Good Luck
