One player I know is Windows Media Player
Windows media player.
All players require an installation.
No, Windows Media Center does not convert AVI files to DVD format. However, it is capable of playing most AVI files.
I am glad to say that, yes, it will. If the video player built-into the android operating system does not open AVI files, there is a lot of video players on the android market and I am positive that many of them play AVI files.
From what i gathered so far both the QNAP media station and QMobile cannot play .avi files. in order to do so you must trans-code the video files by clicking on them, and waiting (this will take quite long) for them to trans-code into .flv files.
most DVD players often plays DVD formats. But if the DVD player is supported by avi file reader then it could probably play
Go to Google and search "VLC media player". It's free and awesome! :) !
Yes, AVI format files can be played on mobile devices, but compatibility depends on the specific device and the media player being used. Many modern smartphones may require a third-party app that supports AVI playback, as the default media players typically favor more common formats like MP4. Users can download apps like VLC or MX Player to easily play AVI files on their mobile devices.
avi. i think
AVI files may not work in Windows Media Player if the appropriate codec is not installed on your system. This does not mean you can't play the file in the player though... you simply have to convert it to a file name extension (format) compatible with media player:.avi, dvr-ms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, .wmvTry converting the avi file to a wmv or mpgformat, then test it in the player.
I'm afraid it can't. You may need a burning software to burn the avi file to DVD first, then you could play it on a DVD player. There is an expection though that some DVD players can play avi. files. I recommend you to buy a DVD player at wal-mart or something that can play avi. files directly. They only cost about 50 dollars.
Use any kind of player that supports .avi format to play with. VLC player, BS Player and Media Player Classic are 3 good Players
