Yes it did.
Anne Franks diary was red and green with a small lock on it.
Anne Frank's diary was actually an autograph book. It was red and green plaid, and had a small lock in the front. Her original diary was a cloth covered book of red with green plaid or "gingham" pattern. Her other (continued) diary books were unused office ledgers, and ultimately sheets of thin blue and pink paper.

the lock-in
You use Velcro and make it where you want it to go....no harm no foul!
you can use a bobby pin or take the lock of by pulling of rip it from the other side
it cost around 15.00$
Buy a lock and attach it on the dairy.
the lock-in
If it is the typical cheap lock and key that come with 90% of the diaries out there, you can pick up the diary and slam the lock on the corner of a coffee table or counter and it will pop right open. It doesn't damage it so you can lock it right back. This is why I always replaced mine with a master lock as a teen.
June 12, 1942 was a special day for Anne Frank because it was her 13th birthday. On that day, she received a diary as a gift which she later used to document her experiences hiding from the Nazis during World War II. This diary eventually became one of the most famous and poignant accounts of the Holocaust.
