for my church.....children are usually the childrens ministry
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Adam and Eve, as well as all the ancient prophets and faithful people throughout the ages, were members of the same church that they are a part of - the true Church of Jesus Christ. In fact, one reason Mormons often have many children is because God commanded Adam and Even to 'multiply and replenish the earth' by having children. From a general Christian perspective, though, Adam and Eve had many children because God commanded it, because they lived for nearly a thousand years, and because there was no birth control and little disease. Just because someone has many children doesn't mean they are Mormon, as large families are a common belief of many Bible followers.
What is a high building, part of many churches
The central part of a church is called an altar. This is a sacred part of the church and the place from which the sermons are preached.

In many countries, The Church was exempt from taxes. Part of Henry VIII's break with the church came over church revenues.
On one Sunday, Calpurnia takes Scout and Jem to the "black church". When one member of the church wants the children to leave, Calpurnia insists that "It's the same God." In my view, I think that Calpurnia believes that everyone's equal.
Believers make up the church. If you are a Christian, then WE are the church. There are many people who think that the church is only a building but the church is the body of Christ. The church is those who are the hands and feet of Jesus and those who reach out into their world to make a difference for the sake of the gospel. I think that the church is supposed to be made up of the difference makers and the ones who have passion about being a light in the dark world. Young and old alike make up the church. Many ethnicities make up the church. I am a part of the body of Christ. I and fellow believers who are also a part of the body of Christ make up the church. However, this is not to say that those who do not believe cannot be the church. They have an opened door to believe the word of God and to also become a part of the body of Christ, and in turn a part of the church.
The NT doesn't compare the local church (the church you go to) with a body. But it does compare the universal church (all believers in Christ) to a body. The universal church is like a body because it is made up of many parts (believers). These parts should function in harmony together - just as the many parts of a body function together. No part is more important than another part. Every part has a function.Just as a head leads/controls a body, Christ is the head of the universal church.Comment: Just what do you mean by universal as a mainstream church carries this as part of its name? The Bible calls the Church Jesus established, 'the Church of God,' in about 12 places in the N.T.. Is this your 'universal' Church?? This Church, by the way, has always had the 'little flock.'
