I have read one place online that the book is about 115,000 words long, and 170,000 words long some where else. Regardless of which is correct, the average pace of a person reading is 200-250 words a minute (reading, not skiming) so say you read 225 words a minute. If the book was 115,000 words it would take you 8.5 hours to read, and if it was 170,000 words it would take about 12.5 hours.
