Margot Frank was naturally quiet and reserved - possibly even a somewhat melancholic temperament. She was a superb student, and very devoted to the orthodox religious practices of her Jewish faith (she much more resembled Mrs. Frank in this regard). She was rather nervous and easily upset by stressful situations. Her desire, had she survived the war, was to go to Israel and become a midwife, according to what she told Anne. Margot was also very proper, mannerly, and respective towards her elders.
