i believe you mean Mary and Carrie. rose was lauras daughter. well Mary went blind when she was a young girl because of scarlet fever in walnut grove Minnesota. when they moved to South Dakota Mary went to blind college in Iowa. once she came home to ma and pa ingalls she stayed there. she got a job as a blind teacher. my sister told me she married another blind teacher, but im not sure. Carrie had quite a quiet life. along with grace another daughter of the ingalls. Carrie married a man who helped build the presidents monumant in South Dakota. im not sure who grace married. as i said before rose was lauras daughter. rose moved to Missouri with almanzo and Laura her parents, but that was in a young age. she grew up on rocky ridge farm, their Missouri farm. they had to move to town so they could get more money. rose grew up and went to Louisiana with her aunt eliza Jane for highschool. she lived there with her aunt. she graduated highschool and went back to Missouri. after soon she went to telegraph school in Detroit, ( i think). she gradated, and she left for san fransico as a telegrapher. she found work there. that's where she met Claire gilette lane, the man she married. she dreamed of marrying paul cooley her childhood sweetheart. soon after she married gilette. they had a son who died early. rose divorced gilette and spent the rest of her life single. she became an author. she died 1968.
