Christopher's parents believe it is necessary to lie in order to protect Christopher from potential harm or distress. They may feel that some truths are too overwhelming for him to handle, so they choose to shield him by withholding or altering the truth. This stems from their love and concern for Christopher's well-being.

You simply come up with a conviencinq lie to tell them, think of what your are lieing about nd; switch it around to what you want it to be.
I think when he lied that he didn't have any dreams the night he dreamed about Fiona.
Many children lie to their parents. So tell the truth.
13 years old unless you lie to create one
Mainly to protect you.
I have found that as they say, "Honesty is the best policy." When you lie about something you usually have to lie about the lie and then lie about the lie that you lied about. It is a never ending lie. You may be punished for what you did but you have to look at that as a lesson learned. The chances of you getting caught lying are really good. Once you have been caught lying then you are going to be known as a person who cannot be trusted to tell the truth. Do you want that over a bad note? Your parents and your teacher may punish you for what you did but they will think more highly of you for telling the truth even though you knew you would get into trouble. A lot of times you may not get into as much trouble as you think you will. I used to think that my dad would kill me when he got home, but here I am, alive and well. Heres another thought: Tell your parents about it before the teacher does. You would be surprised how much that can make the problem easier to handle.
Lie to my parents.
Do not lie to them. Be nice.
so the parents would not know what or how they did the thing that they really did.
