It is very easy. The pump is located on the drivers side front of the engine. PROPERLY raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. From below the vehicle, first remove the two rubber lines that run to the gas tank, and the single steel line that goes to the carburetor. Then remove the two bolts that attach the fuel pump to the timing cover. Remove any old gasket left on the timing cover, bolt the new fuel pump and gasket on, then reattach the lines. Start vehicle, check for any fuel and oil leaks, correct if needed. Lower vehicle, you are done

There is no engine from 1998 without fuel injection. If You have an older engine, the pump is boltet at the lower engine side. it is just two bolts and easy to install. It is wise to change the seal, because it often break when you unbolt the pump.

take the fuel lines off of the pump and take the 2 bolts out that hold it on and pull it off, to reinstall there is a pushrod inside the engine that rides on the pump arm, you have to push the rod back up out of the way and quickly insert the pump in place and reinstall the 2 bolts and then hook up your fuel lines to the pump and your done.
