Check for fuel pressure, fuel pump not coming on right away.
hmm you can try the idle control valve
When was the last tune up. Plugs, and wires, fuel filter, air filter. All of these or either one will cause this. Start with the plugs, try it, if still the same, then the wires, if still the same, then fuel filter and so on to the air filter. Good luck. If all fails, and the check engine lite is on, or if it is on now, get a read out first. Might give you some ideas.
It fires the plugs in the cylinders to ignite the mixture.
Spark plugs, air filter, wires ( if equipped ).Spark plugs, air filter, wires ( if equipped ).
Does the new pump run? if yes then is there spark at the plugs? also did you replace the fuel filter?
one plug fires on the power stroke and one plug fires on the exhaust stroke to reduce emissions
check your air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, and O2 sensor. it is probably one of them.
Put the old plugs and air filter back in. If it runs fine after that then the plugs and or filter may be for the wrong type of vehicle.
If you remove the air filter box, you will have plenty of room to access the plugs. If you remove the air filter box, you will have plenty of room to access the plugs.
If it is missing it is probaly a coil pack
air filter every 20,000 miles, i change spark plugs once a year
Sounds like gas filter getting plugged with rust or something. Then after being down for while the rust falls off filter and starts until gas pressure plugs the filter again with dirt or rust or whatever.
