It's the relay. Check the relay box behind the fuse box or the fuse/relay box in the engine compartment.
If the turn signal relay & hazard (emergency) relay are side by side, turn on the emergency blinkers. You will hear & feel (if you touch the relay) the emergency relay clicking. Turn signal relay is the other one.
locate it by turning on your emergency flashers and listening for the click. once you find the unit that is clicking, you have found the flasher unit
There's a way that not so many know of, and that is put the car in Reverse and then start backing up slowly and start pulling the emergency brake so you hear it clicking until it stops, then do it like 8 to 10 times and you'll notice the emergency brake gets harder.

Do you hear clicking when you attempt to operate the top like a selonoid in engaging and dis-engaging? There is a yellow emergency switch in the trunk that may be in the "middle" position, thus not allowing the top to go up or down, try that. Yes i hear clicking and the switch is up in auto position.
You can read an attachment by left clicking on the attachment, or right clicking on the attachment and left clicking on "Open".

The clicking may be the belt tensioner clicking. I know that mine is causeing a clicking noise. If you get a friend to help you, you will be able to see it happen if that is the case.
