since no one on here helped me I decided I'd throw in a starter. Turns out that was the problem, along with a vacuum leak.
it could be the starter
Will it even attempt to engage the starter?. If not then the battery or charging system needs to be looked at.
It sounds like your alternator is no longer recharging your battery. You probably need a new alternator.
A bazar is an obsolete term for a bazaar, a marketplace which is covered with shops and stalls.
a dead battery
want to know if my starter is going bad if
a simple test to check the alternator is to disconnect either one of the battery terminals battery while the car is still running at its slowest speed if the enginge quits the alternator is bad, or an easier test is to rev the engine from idle with the head lights on and observe if the lights get brighter. do you have a manual for the car?
If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. If it stalls and dies as soon as you unhook the battery then the alternator is not good.If you can get your vehicle started you can then un hook the battery while it is running and if your vehicle stays running then your alternator is good. take negative off battery for 30 minutes and clean the Throttle Body
replace the alternator
Check it for codes, check the fuel pressure, check the battery connections.....
You need to check your grounds on the car I was going throw the same problem. My 1989 Honda civic was doing the same thing I replaced the starter , two times and the alternator , and a new battery , until I checked my ground I put 1 ground from the battery to the chasie another from the strut bolt on the driver side of the car to the engine 2 this other ground I put it from the fire wall to the a bolt close to the starter 3 this one I put it from the battery to the bolt on the rotter 4 this one from the battery to a bolt on the engine under the rotter 5 this is the stock ground from the valve cover to the chasie.
