I don't think so. I have a 91 Integra and I have had the same problem for a couple of years. I've had numerous shops look at it and they tell me that the starter and battery are fine. Recently replaced a corroded distributor cap and rotor which seemed to help. But the more research I do I think my problem has to do with the Cold Start Valve. I have a lot of trouble during extreme weather conditions weather its very cold or very hot. Have someone look at it and bring the Cold Start Valve to their attention also mention the coils and have them look at those as well. Hopefully it isn't a starter. In my case my car may just be too old at this point. Hope that helps.
if the battery and battery conections are good, then you need to replace the starter motor
starter, solonoid, ignition, battery. if it clicks when you turn the key then the battery is really dead or its the starter the battery could still be jumped if its the battery.
Weak battery or poor connection - battery to starter. Possible bad starter.
If the battery is bad, you may only hear clicks. It could be the starter, but I would check the charge on the battery first.
If the starter clicks, but doesn't start the car, that indicates that the starter solenoid is working, but the commutator that actually spins the engine is not. Take the starter back and have it tested. The battery could also be at fault. If the battery doesn't supply enough power you'll get the same result. check the battery voltage first should be 12.6 volts if not jump the battery see if it starts.if it does bad battery.
Seized engine? Weak battery? Loose or corroded battery cables? Defective starter solenoid? Flat spot on starter?
solenoids are what clicks, yes it will click if the battery is low.
Your battery is low. You probably has to replace the battery. Or maybe the starter motor solonoid is faulty
Either Discharged battery or poor/loose battery or starter connections or solenoid contact need replacing
Weak battery, bad connection Bad starter
Starter solenoid. Can be tested by bypassing with a screwdriver. Possible low battery, bad connection at battery and cables or bad starter.
Proper battery connections could be at fault, how old is your battery? Check for loose and corroded terminals on your battery and starter connections. Also the starter might just be bad.
