I have a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT - originally the recommended inflation pressure was 26 PSI - I received a revised sticker recommending 30 PSI ( cold ) for recommended Firestone tires . I had my Firestone ATX tires replaced for free under the recall with Michelin LTX all terrain tires ( P235/75R15 ) and I have been running 29 or 30 PSI in the Michelins for over 7 years now and if anything it's the inside and outside edges that are wearing quicker than the center of the tread so that works for me
Check with the dealer, it might still be under recall
I have a 1996 Sebring Convert. There actually was a recall for this in 1996. The shifter could be placed into neutral without the benefit of having the key in the ignition. What they had to do was to replace the shifter assembly under the recall warranty. Check with a dealer to see if this recall is still active. Sometime they expire, then it's on you. If it is still an active recall, it should cost you nothing.
they had a recall on all v6 clutches on the gt tib, so if its still under warrenty take it to the dealership, they should replace it for free, if your under the warrenty
You can find coupons under the "offers" section of the Firestone website. You can also put in your e-mail in a section near the bottom of that page and get all their promotions in your inbox.

The Goodyear Polyglas GT's were patented in 1967. They were available in late 1968 on production cars with one of the applications being the Mustang. Raised white letter tires were manufactured under the following names Goodyear Polyglas GT, Firestone Wide-Oval and etc but I can't find any definite record as to who was first in the market with them. If you watch Vanishing Point (movie) the white 1970 Dodge Challenger driven by the protagonist uses Goodyear Polyglas GT tires.
