For the HF 16v Integrale, it's recommended to use a high-quality synthetic engine oil with a viscosity of 10W-50, which can provide optimal protection under various driving conditions. Look for oils that meet or exceed API SL/SM specifications. Brands like Motul, Mobil 1, and Castrol often have suitable options specifically formulated for high-performance engines. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure compatibility.

The rubber bung on the sump of an Astra 1.6 16V is a plug used to seal the oil drain hole, allowing for oil changes without removing the entire sump. It prevents oil leaks and contamination while ensuring that the engine maintains proper oil levels. This component is crucial for maintaining engine performance and longevity.
