what spenner i need to chage oil in Renault clio
For a 2001 Renault Clio 16V, it's recommended to use a high-quality 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil that meets the ACEA A3/B3 or A3/B4 specifications. Always check the owner's manual for specific oil recommendations, as well as for any manufacturer-approved oil brands. Regular oil changes are essential to maintain engine performance and longevity.
On a Renault Clio 1.2 16v, the gearbox oil filler is typically located on the top of the gearbox itself. You can usually identify it by a removable plug or cap, often marked with a transmission symbol or labeled. To access it, you may need to lift the vehicle for better visibility, and ensure you have the right tools to remove the filler plug safely. Always consult your vehicle's manual for specific details and procedures.
gearbox!
The oil filter on a Renault Clio is located on the driver side of the engine. To see it simply prop the hood of the engine up and oil filter will then be visible.
in summer i would use 15w40 but in winter 10w40 preferably semi synthetic
Renault Clio 1.2 on a 51 plate. You will find the oil filter on the drivers side just at the back of the engine near the sump. I know that on a Renault clio 172 the oil filter is actually under the engine its self, very hard to spot and work on.
You should place a drip pan below the oil filter. Remove the oil filter by turning it to the left, with a filter wrench. Fill the new oil filter with oil. Put the new oil filter back on by turning it to the right.
