Hi yes you can run your car on bio diesel and it doesn't affect the performance of the car. we have a Volvo v40 1999 & v40 2001 running on 100% bio diesel.
But you will have change your fuel filter once you have done 200 miles which cost about £7 for replacement part and take 10 mins to change and you can use a oil filtyer remover tool to get it off. it is located under the bonnet on the passengers side at the back at the botttom screwed on side ways and it sshould be white in colour. as the bio diesel will break down the residue left from normal diesel in the fuel filter which could block the fuel pipes and injectors.
That's all you will need todo to run your car on 100% bio diesel.
Hope this helps
Just about any diesel vehicle will run on biodiesel.
I have a ford transit 2009, can you run it on biodeisel? or what alterations are needed to run the van on biodiesel?
yes
Yes, tractors can be modified or designed to use biodiesel as a fuel source. Biodiesel is a renewable alternative to traditional diesel fuel and can help reduce emissions and dependency on fossil fuels. Many modern tractors are already compatible with biodiesel blends.
Convert them to run on biodiesel.
Any diesel engine can run on quality biodiesel. Older engines even better. New engines can loose their warranty if you use biodiesel, so please check.
A 2004 Toyota RAV4 is not designed to run on biodiesel or a biodiesel blend, as its engine is not compatible with the properties of biodiesel. Using biodiesel or a high blend of biodiesel could lead to fuel system damage and void the vehicle's warranty. It's advisable to stick with conventional diesel fuel if you have the diesel variant or gasoline for the gasoline variant. Always consult the owner's manual or a professional mechanic for specific fuel recommendations for your vehicle.
Yes, a Ford Transit Mk7 can run on biodiesel, but it is important to use it within the manufacturer's guidelines. Generally, blends of up to 20% biodiesel (B20) are considered safe for use without modifications. However, higher concentrations may require adjustments or could affect warranty coverage. Always consult the owner's manual or a dealer for specific recommendations regarding biodiesel use.

The 200 Series Volvo is the only car in automotive history to have a 0 rollover fatality rate in the entire 17 year production run of the cars. I love them
Because its disadvantages far outweigh its advantages. ULSD motors require expensive conversions to run on biodiesel (contrary to what seems to be popular belief, you don't just pump biodiesel into any ULSD motor without conversion), and it doesn't perform as well as ULSD #2 does.
