Is a flat tire harder to notice on a 4wd compared to a 2wd car and what other differences is there regarding flat tires?
No, it isn't easier 2 or 4wd. It is easier to notice with a non- run flat vs. a runflat tire. Also it is easier with touring/ high aspect tires like touring car tires vs. sport tires. Sport tires have a stiffer/shorter sidewall that supports more weight without deflecting than a touring tire.
Can run flat tires be replaced with conventional tire?
Cars that use run-flat tires don't have a spare tire. But there's no other reason you can't switch to regular tires. Best thing to do is learn how to plug a nail hole and carry a can of fix-a-flat or a small compressed air cylinder that you can use to re-inflate the tire should you encounter a flat. Can I put 17 inch tires on my existing wheel?
If you want to replace the current tires on your vehicle with a 17 inch tire you will have to have the proper rims for that tire. If you currently have rims for a 17 inch tire then you would not have to replace them but if your tire rims are smaller or larger then they would have to be replaced.
