You can use whatever octane you want, generally you shouldn't have to go to higher octane unless your car requires it. If your decidin to go higher because you feel a better power increase this is a sign you need tune up
89 OCTANE
I have a 04 passat glx and I use 89 because the car will throw an error code if you use 87. i don't have any issues with 89 and the car runs great on it......
i use 89 oct
87 Octane providing that it does not "ping" excessively - if it does use an 89 Octane
if it is the 1.8T yes... if its the V6 I do believe only 89 octane... and if its the W8 yes...
I would not use anything less than 89 Octane
65% of 87 and 35% 93 to make 89 octane gas
Depends on what type engine. the 2.7 L and 3.5 L are made for 87 octane fuel but can use 89 and 91. The 5.7 L can take 87 octane or 89 octane but i would use 89 for it. if i had the 6.1 hemi i would use the 91 octane cause it is a more consistent fuel.
89 octane is recommended
you can use pretty much any unleaded gas but it runs a little better on 89 octane , or higher but if you have a stock blaster you can run 87 octane
The 3.6 engine can take regular (89 octane)
Best but is to read the user manual which states 89 octane
