no oil ports and water are the problem
A piston is attached to a piston rod in a combustion engine. It compresses the air in the cylinder block and that air ignites when fuel is injected into the block, giving the car power.
piston is a plunger that moves ups and down in the engine block.the function of the piston is to compress air mixtures in the engine block

When you say cylinder, you're talking about the space where the piston is. The cylinder is but one of four or six or eight in an engine block. You can't change one cylinder as it is part of the block. You would have to change the entire block or bore each cylinder to specifications equal to each for the engine to run proficiently.
well it is very simple, Stand on The Block You want to place the piston on. Once that's done quickly jump and place the piston.
a block is not a kind of motor, is is a piece of a motor. it is the part that the piston moves up and down in.
There is no clearance of the ring to the block. The ring works in contact with the block to seal the combustion chamber and provide oil control.
The pistons and connecting rods have to be disconnected from the crankshaft, then removed from the top of the engine block. The oil pan and heads will have to be removed to gain access.
Lack of water in you engine block. Lack of oil in your engine block. Can cause piston siege.
The block is the same, everything else will need swapped.
this is the diameter of the cylinder hole in the engine block for the piston
