You must drop the gas tank down in order to remove the fuel pump and internal systems.
You can use a floor jack to support the tank as you loosen the strap bands.
Once the bands are free you can use the jack to slowly lower it down.
It is highly recommended to use or drain out as much of the fuel as you can before hand.
Please do not smoke or have open flames near or around the tank at any time.
There maybe a locking ring that you can use a flat head screwdriver to turn and remove.
Then the assembly should just twist or lift out.
Make the necessary disconnections for power and motor fuel feed line.
Hook the new one up and reverse the removal procedure.
