Change brake light switch on ford explorer?

Pull the clip running through the shaft of the brake lever.

Carefully push the brass colored brake rod to the left.

There is a bushing that will fall off be sure not to lose it.

Pull the two wires from the switch. remember the way they came off. reinstall the new switch the same way the old one came off.

The bushing goes into the brass rod.

place the switch on the brass rod.

Line up the holes on the rod and the switch,

and push back on the levers shaft.

replace clip on that shaft ,MAKE SURE the clip

will not come off!
