To check the transmission fluid on a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, locate the transmission dipstick, which is typically found near the back of the engine bay. With the engine running and the vehicle in park, pull out the dipstick, clean it with a rag, then reinsert it and remove it again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the designated marks on the dipstick. If needed, add the appropriate type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.

On a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo LS, the transmission dipstick is located near the rear of the engine bay, towards the driver's side. It is typically marked with a bright yellow or orange handle for easy identification. To check the transmission fluid, ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and the engine is running, then pull out the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it, and check the fluid level.
