It's about 2.5 hrs of labor and the belt is about $40. Depending on labor rates in your area, you're looking at about $300. They will also try to talk you into replacing the water pump at the same time, which is not a bad idea since 90% of the labor is already paid for. A new water pump runs around $100.

IMO, since the labor cost is most of this expense, make sure these inexpensive parts are also replaced; oil seals to avoid future leaks, water pump which won't last much longer anyway, drive belts which are also due to change out, new antifreeze. This will also drive up the cost of the labor and the parts cost. Honda cars will go for a long time if the repair schedule is followed.

can we adjust the clutch on honda civic 1999
I just replaced mine at about 95,000 miles.
It will not fit directly, without modification... the 96-98 bumpers and 99-00 bumpers are different, as are the headlights and hoods
what is the fuel tank capacity of 1999 honda civic
Oh, dude, setting the timing on a 1999 Honda Civic EX? That's like trying to explain quantum physics to a cat. Basically, you gotta locate the timing marks on the crankshaft pulley and the engine block, then use a timing light to adjust the distributor until they line up. But hey, if you're not into getting your hands dirty, just take it to a mechanic and let them deal with it.
Yes, it is the same starter for both.
