The solenoid on a Craftsman riding mower is typically located near the battery, mounted on or near the frame. It is usually a small cylindrical component with two large terminals for the battery cables and one or more smaller terminals for the ignition switch. To access it, you may need to remove the mower's hood or panels for better visibility. Always ensure the mower is turned off and disconnected from power before attempting any maintenance.
