Yes, read the instructions the can. I recommend Seafoam or Techron fuel treatment.
Allmost allways add it to a full tank.
Follow the directions on the container for the best results.
There are two forms of cleaners used in the automotive industry. One that's poured into the gas tank,in which is not as effective as the second form induced at the engine, which is usually more concentrated and way more effective.
None. You can add a can of fuel injector cleaner to a full tank of fuel once a year but never add any of the gas treatments.
octane boosters or fuel injector cleaner. You can buy octane booster from autozone from anywhere from 1.99 to 8.99 or 9.99 for the really good ones. Fuel injector cleaners you can find for around $4. Lucas is a really good product
It is possible that the solvent in the product loosened some type of debris in the fuel rail and it is now blocking an injector. For any larger debris in the tank - - the fuel filter would have caught it. Speaking of the fuel filter - - are you sure that it is not clogged and restricting the flow of gas itself? When was the last time you had it replaced?
Pouring the injector cleaner down the throttle body won't clean the injectors. You need to add the injector cleaner to the fuel tank for it to help you. Read the instructions on the container of injector cleaner.
Not sure what you mean. You can add a liquid fuel injector cleaner to the gasoline in the fuel tank if that is what you are referring to, just follow directions on the container.
96 litres.
when the pump was changed, maybe dirt fell in tank and the injectors are clogging up. run some good injector cleaner in fuel tank. and see if this helps, if it does add injector cleaner to tank at least once a month or more often. it will not hurt to use it more often.
You can try using a fuel injector cleaner that you add to the fuel tank but that's about all you can do at home other than replacing them.
You have a leaky injector. If you can get the vehicle to start, add a little injector cleaner to your next tank of fuel. Sometimes that is enough to clean the sticky/leaking injector. Some people have recommended 8 oz of acetone per 10 gallons of fuel to clean sticky/leaking injectors.
