Kia global information systems(www.kiatechinfo.com) says that the fuel filter is in the fuel pump. I was told that it is black cylinder shaped on the drivers side by the rear wheel. If your steering wheel is on right side, it,s near the passenger side just inside the front edge of the rear tire. I was told by the service manager at kia Carson CA that the fuel pump is in the gas tank and that you do not need to change the filter? I have not checked yet I will call kia tech help at 18004944542 and see what they have to say before I look.
where is the fuel filter in a kia Rio 2004
how do you install a fuel filter on an 04 kia Rio
It has a fuel filter.
The 2004 Kia Rio runs on regular unleaded.
though some would suggest its on the side of the gas tank, and autozone will even sell you one for a 2004 that goes on the fuel line leading from the tank to the injectors. I have a 2004 kia Rio and it IS NOT on the fuel line it is IN THE GAS TANK... Good luck
It has a permanent fuel filter mounted inside the fuel tank.
I brought my 2004 kia Rio rxv to a garage to get the fuel filter replaced because I could not find it.When I went to pick it up the guy told me he couldn't find it either so he called kia and they told him it doesn''t have one only a screen in the tank, that's what he told me.
