yes, no i really dont know
The Rover 25 with a 2-litre diesel engine typically has two main belts: the timing belt and the auxiliary (serpentine) belt. The timing belt is crucial for synchronizing the engine's camshaft and crankshaft, while the auxiliary belt drives other components such as the alternator and power steering pump. It's important to check these belts regularly for wear and replace them as needed to ensure optimal engine performance.
The Rover v6 has 3 timing belts (cam belts) they must be changed every 90000kilometers, if the belts snap you will have to replace all 24 valves, Do not forget to replace the idler pulley as well.
I was looking at the Gates website ( they make timing belts etcetera ) and it shows for the 2.5 liter V6 engine in a 2003 Land Rover Freelander : Cam belt , front Cam belt , rear , 2 required ( so I'm confused , either it takes 2 timing belts or 3 timing belts )
2005 range rover hse valve timing!!! i need help on finding a link on how to do it thanks
no it doesn,t have a timing belt or chain.
I have no listing for a Land Rover Range Rover. Are you sure it has a timing belt an does not have a chain?
Let me guess it's a range rover 2.5 1994-2002 so it's a diesel sport edition
BELT
If your engine is the 2.5 BMW straight 6 TD , it has a timing CHAIN. This engine is fitted not only to the BMW's, but also in the Omega, and Range Rover DSE. Hope this helps !
it does not have a timing belt, it is a chain drive which should be good for the life of the car
