why does oil light come on Oil level is low, pressure is low do to plugged filter or worn engine, or sensor is bad.
Check with a manual gauge to confirm no oil pressure Could just be a bad oil sending unit Could be a bad oil pump Excessive engine wear
Unplug the coils and crank the engine over until the oil pressure builds up.
Not necessary but never a bad idea if possible. Just never overfill the engine.
If you mean that you changed oil , then RAN THE ENGINE with the old oil filter installed , then changed the oil filter , you just mixed the dirty oil in the old engine oil filter with the new oil that was just put in . So , not the best thing to do
Bottom of the engine, just behind the oil pan.Bottom of the engine, just behind the oil pan.
you will blow out the seals and that is not good to much oil is just as bad as not enough the crank could also beat the oil to a froth and cause oil starvation to the engine the bearings could burn up pdq
Oil leaks, piston oil rings bad, Valve seals worn out. The whole engine may just be worn out.
your lifters are bad at least 1 of them or on a more serious note no oil in engine bad oil pump bad oil sending unit bent push rod blown engine
Oil pump failing, faulty oil pressure sending unit, and overfilling the engine with oil, which is just as bad as under filling.
On the v-6 it is on the right hand lower corner of the engine. (as if you were sitting in the car)
No, but burning oil will give you bad spark plugs.
