If the battery has caps and is not sealed check the level of the electrolyte. If it is low add only distilled water.
to help it speed it upAll car batteries work with a weak acid in them. Many modern batteris are 'low maintenance', so they don't need looking at. Most older car batteries needed topping-up with pure water (not tap water) as evaporation occured.
Because there is no need to add water as they are maintenance free for life.
The water is actually an electrolytic fluid. The fluid conduct the voltage between the batteries plates. Water is sometimes added as the fluid dissipates.
On most modern sealed batteries you do not have to add water. On batteries that are not sealed you should check the battery monthly. If you have to add water only add distilled water and never tap water.
The main everyday uses, are to fill steam irons and top up car batteries. Laboratories also use it where water needs to be added to some experiment.
No it does not require 2 batteries unless you have some aftermarket stuff added to your car. But you would have to have a lot of stuff added to overload it.
Sort of: you would need about 80 motorcycle batteries 10 to 20 Car batteries Or six to 8 of the correct golf cart batteries.
Baking soda mixed with water will clean the top of the battery. Other than that you need to replace it.
They are powered by a normal 12 volt car battery.
Maintenance free means just what the names implies. You will not need to add water to this battery ever.
You may need to clean car batteries occasionally, but if regular batteries leak you should just get rid of them. anonymous@oola.com
Car batteries are filled with sulfuric acid, not water. The battery fluids get "topped up" with distilled water if they get low.
