None. Engine timing is set by the PCM, you can not change it with a timing light.
It can be anywhere from 4 - 13 degrees.. depending on what type of cam you got and ect.. For a stock 350.. Timing is commonly around 12 - 13 degrees.
You can no longer use a timing light, they are a thing of the pass. You must have an OBDII engine scanner to set the timing on that year engine, because it is now electronic controlled. You will have to hook scanner up to engine and go into the TIMING MODE on the scanner and then move the distributor by hand while watching the scanner to time the engine. THERE'S NO OTHER WAY.
The timing of an MB100 Ssangyong engine's injection pump is typically set at around 13-15 degrees before top dead center (BTDC) for optimal performance. However, it is essential to consult the vehicle's service manual or specifications for the exact timing requirements, as variations may exist based on specific engine configurations or modifications. Proper timing ensures efficient fuel delivery and engine performance.
ok firstly you need to loosten you cam belt cover if you look at the cover there is a nut by the water pump & 1 alen key. under that you will see the pulley which runs from your tappets, alternator & water pump, the timing markers are on there. then you need a timing light & a 13 spanner
