Check bulb if other side front is working.
Probably just a burned out bulb in the front one. Those bulbs have 2 elements so the marker light will still work but the blinker wont.
It comes out the back of the light housing.
You remove the headlight to gain access to the back of the blinker housing, you can reach into the back of it and pull out the light and cable it's attached to. It's a pain.
when you flip your blinker on, a relay in the circuit is activated which turns the light on and off. also, the front blinker and rear blinker usually alternate in turning off and on, so when the back is on, the front will be off, and reverse.. that's why when a bulb is out, the clicking sound in the vehicle goes faster than when both are in working order.
Sounds like a problem with the switch in steering column
To change the front blinker bulb on your 1986 Chevy Celebrity simply reach up behind the bumper and unplug the socket from the fixture. Replace the bulb in the socket and plug the socket back into the fixture.
It means that a bulb has burned out!
That's probably just a burned out bulb. If you're "handy" they are usually easy to replace. Just look around on the outside and in your trunk for a way to get at the light bulb. You will probably have to unscrew the lens or the light socket from the car to get at the bulb. Then they usually twist out of their socket or unplug from their socket. Then take it to an auto store to get a replacement for a few bucks.
If your back is to the light source your shadow will be in front of you
Replace the tail light bulb from inside the trunk after pulling back the carpet. This should probably fix your blinker too.
Find the light, its in a yellow casing. Pull out the light by twisting, and pulling. Remove bulb from light, and insert new bulb. Then place back in casing, and twist.
One of the bulbs is burned out. Turn on the blinker and look at the front and back turn signals to find out which one.
